University of Oklahoma-Accelerated BSN Program

Hi All,

I'm new to this site and to the field of nursing. Has anyone gone to this school and if so, what did you think?

I live in San Diego, CA, and there is an online program that this school offers. I'm 3 prerequisites away from applying to the school, with a start date of August 08. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 16 month old daughter and I am freaking out about time management with just one child!! I can't imagine what parents with more kids will be going through. After reading all the posts I know it's doable...but I'm still nervous:bby:

I have a 3 yr boy and my daughter is turning 1 today....and I never left them to go anywhere ...so it will be huge adjustment....

Oh yeah I can see how tough this will be for you Laura. A good support system at home is always needed...otherwise you and I will be looking frazzled most days :) I agree we should try to recognize eachother at Open House. It already feels like a lot of us know eachother so well after months of reading eachother's posts and giving encouragement. Surely we will have nametags....oh joy!!

Does anyone know if we should be receiving a confirmation email from Alina about open house? I emailed her to let her know I would be there and would like to attend the CPR class but I haven't heard anything back.

I did the same thing last week and emailed her to reserve my space for Open House and never received confirmation from her. So I decided to contact my advisor here in SD. I sent her an email and she forwarded it to the correct person who's based here in SD to reserve my space. It worked beautifully and I received my confirmation.....finally

Is there any other person besides Suzanne that we could contact? I've been trying to reach her all week and she hasn't called me back. Also I haven't received the alternates open house email for San Diego :cry:

I have a couple of names with email addresses I have used to contact people at the SD campus....including the person who sent me my final confirmation letter. But I can't PM anyone until I get 15 posts. I'm working on it :)

Ok....I know this is quite cheezy....but this link has the name of the person I received my confirmation letter from for Open House. She is the third person listed from the top of the page. It just has her name...no contact info, but it's a start. Hope this helps and sorry for giving the run around. Anytime we mention faculty names on here we get reprimanded.
