Hi All,
I'm new to this site and to the field of nursing. Has anyone gone to this school and if so, what did you think?
I live in San Diego, CA, and there is an online program that this school offers. I'm 3 prerequisites away from applying to the school, with a start date of August 08. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Nicole
I think you have to register regardless....CPR registration is separate
A CPR class will be offered for those needing to satisfy this requirement. The class will be offered from 6-9pm after open house. Please reserve your space and receive cost information when you register for open house.
Space, as well as parking, is limited, please do not bring guests with you to this event.
anyone knows where can I get inexpensive Hep B and varicella vaccines??? I have no insurance...and public health does not have themthanks
CVS minute clinics. :) Not sure if they'll still have the varicella, since its out of season, but if they have extra and its not expired, I'm sure they'll provide it.
I got to them and I do have insurance, its just so much faster/easier to get a TB test there and usually its an NP giving you the treatments and they talk your ear off about how great it is to be in school to become a nurse, really encouraging. At least its happened to me and a few friends who have gone there.
Here's a pricelist and link:

You'll actually physically be practicing/learning how to do physical assessments - head to toe. The professors for this particular lab/class are very sweet and helpful.
