Hi All,
I'm new to this site and to the field of nursing. Has anyone gone to this school and if so, what did you think?
I live in San Diego, CA, and there is an online program that this school offers. I'm 3 prerequisites away from applying to the school, with a start date of August 08. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Nicole

Thanks for the update, So Cal! Good info! Looks like I will be taking Chem again. I took it as undergrad and that was +7 years ago! Were you able to find out about CLEP? My info session is in a few weeks so I"ll update if I learn anything new.
She said no testing out of subjects...but you can ask again...
Hopefully she can give you more final terms... she was really concerned about the change in prereqs and she wanted us to have the opportunity to enroll in them for the spring. Biochem... a big concern for me too, so i asked for sdsu's course number so we can compare our course to theirs. (their course catalog entry is in my other post)
We did get to preview the format of the class, the online quiz and activities we'd be studying. one of the more interesting simulation practices was we would pretend to be the head nurse. Depending on our performance, the patients would get better, sicker or even die.
Just finished my final for Microbiology! I have a feeling that I did well...now I just need to send my transcript in showing I completed my final pre-req! I can't wait to attend the open house next Tuesday! So excited!
hahhahah! that sounds great... too bad the sample was just a "print screen" we didnt actually get to see it in action. Good luck to all of you on your finals... i have anatomy and physiology still to finish up... =)

Does yours post that fast? I'm taking my physio final the day after open house (Dec 16th) and the school's website said final grades would not be posted until January 11th which is quite a while.

I will get my grade just after the final about 1 week but grades wont be posted officially till January. My classes are online. One of the instructor posts grades very consistently. The other, I guess it will be a surprise of what our scores are. Good luck on your physio exam
