Just submitted an application. Figured I'd start the next thread to get some information. I've read a ton of information on previous years about interviews. Is it really only 20 minutes long with a test at the beginning?

Hi! I am a current student at UMD. Just wanted to drop some info about the process. Interviews (for my class at least) were held via WebEx due to Covid. Interviews were short 10-15 mins. (Mine was more like 6 mins) typically class size is around 30. Also yes there are information sessions you can attend, I also believe that you can attend online. Just go to their webpage as details are there. One coming up this month I believe.

Hey guys, for those who submitted their application, how did you get your letters of recommendations uploaded? I keep sending requests to my recommenders but they are not receiving anything.

Have them check their spam or junk box. It’s possible they’ve gone there.

Hey all!

I applied too. I saw in previous years they had 400 applicants. One thread said they sent out interview invites at the end of sept but last year was different because of covid so… not sure what to expect.
