University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) Traditional BSN Spring 2025

So I saw that UNTHSC in Fort Worth is starting a traditional BSN program. This differs from their MSN program and the RN-BSN program. It is what I am assuming brand new, meaning this may be the first or second class. I wanted to know if anyone else was applying and what their stats were.

Oops, didn't notice a second page. I applied with a 4.0 prereq GPA and a 92.6 TEAS.

Hey, 

I was waitlisted. But I did read from other students that were accepted that they had concerns about it not being CCNE accredited. Did it mention that in the acceptance email? I don't know how I feel now knowing that. Might just reapply again to other schools next semester. The BSN program is too new to know much.

I am worried to not get this chance again also 

it is confusing. New schools could be good or bad. It is just a luck. I guess they have the initial accreditation.

Yes, I was born and raised in the Fort Worth area, and live about 30 minutes from campus! 

I've seen one on facebook called "UNTHSC COLLEGE OF NURSING ENTERING 2025" but haven't been accepted into the group yet. 🙂

I just came off the waitlist and accepted the offer!! So excited! They called me to congratulate me and let me they will be sending more info soon. 

For job purposes, can anybody that was accepted last month tell me the orientation date and start date if you don't mind? Thank you

I heard that the orientation will be on Jan 7th. And it will last for 3 days.

Oh wow. Coming off the waitlist I don't have that much time then, I have to start on that resignation letter for my job. So thankful though. 

Can't wait to y'all
