  1. I would apply to both! I did my prerequisites at TCC Northwest and I loved my time there so much. I chose UNT over TCC because I just had such a strong, positive feeling when I toured the place. I just knew. ?
  2. The program is incredible and I love it. Things are pretty well organized, and if there's any confusion, there's always someone to help figure things out. Faculty is great, support staff are too. Clinicals are in the DFW area, some are in Dallas, but they do take your wishes into account. I live very far from Dallas and they have never placed me there. ?
  3. Some people have already gotten in under early action, though I'm not sure the exact amount. The rest of the applicants should hear back by the first of April!
  4. They're just various electives and can basically be anything. I took a few different psychology classes, First Aid, and Genetics to meet the requirements.
  5. Yeah! One thing I really like about the program is that pathophysiology and pharmacology are integrated into one course that spans 3 semesters, so you really get enough time to learn and apply the concepts. Clinical does start in the first semester, but they ease you into it, you're not going to be going right away. Other than that it's pretty straightforward. 4 classes, 4 days a week, clinical on Fridays. It's 20 months including summers! My cohort graduates in August 2026, and I'm pretty sure yours will graduate in May 2027. I also know for a fact that our cohorts will receive our white coats together, so we'll be meeting in person! ?
  6. Congrats! We are in week 2 of the semester and it has been WONDERFUL so far. Yes, we are the first cohort! Edit: It's not letting me DM you either. Figures
  7. The first cohort didn't get an early decision, we were all told at once. I'm a week into the program now though, happy to answer any questions! ?
  8. Yay! Congratulations to you too! Yes, I was born and raised in the Fort Worth area, and live about 30 minutes from campus! I've seen one on facebook called "UNTHSC COLLEGE OF NURSING ENTERING 2025" but haven't been accepted into the group yet. ?
  9. We will know on the 25th. ??? Oops, didn't notice a second page. I applied with a 4.0 prereq GPA and a 92.6 TEAS.
