So I saw that UNTHSC in Fort Worth is starting a traditional BSN program. This differs from their MSN program and the RN-BSN program. It is what I am assuming brand new, meaning this may be the first or second class. I wanted to know if anyone else was applying and what their stats were.

Hi Samantha, I am in the process of applying. I saw that they require the TEAS test but I am not seeing where to upload them? Did you send in your application yet? Also, we don't have to apply to the school right? Just through nursing cas?

I reached out and I they told me that the score will be submitted under test scores, and then upload the report for under documents tab in the program materials section. I submitted mine last week I think. I haven't seen anything about having to apply to the school first. I'm also going to the open house on Tuesday.

Hi Everyone,
I never heard about North Texas University BSN program, but I found that their application for Spring semester is still open. So I applied and submitted my Nurse CAS application yesterday. I don't know if my application could be verified before Nov 15th. How long it takes for your applications to be verified, and when we should except to hear back from the school.

The application verified pretty quick for me. I went to the preview day and they said answers will be sent out before thanksgiving and they're only accepting 30 applicants for the traditional BSN program.

Only 30? Wow.
I wasn't able to attend the preview day so thank you for the info. Did they happen to mention if they had "competitive" TEAS scores or GPA? Or maybe they don't since it's the first BSN class.
Wow, that will be very competitive.
Since u went to the preview day, do u know any GPAs or HESI scores averages.
Yes, what is a "competitive" TEAS score? I took it last Spring and got a 90%. I thought that scores were valid for 2 years, but when I applied to TWU my application didn't go through bc my scores were expired. Just retook it last week to apply to UNTHSC and got a 87% hopefully that is good enough.
Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the what makes a competitive applicant part of the preview day, I went to a different breakout session. I wish I could give you guys more info. I know they have some information on their website but I'm not sure of the accuracy.

What did they say was considered a competitive applicant? I was at the other breakout session :-(
Did anyone from those who applied receive anything yet
