Hi everyone!!! I am new to allnurses.com - I was wondering if anyone has applied for the Fall 2009 accelerated program? I have not been able to attend an information session due to scheduling conflicts. Does anyone know how many people apply to the program or know any "insider" info? I know that 50 people get in every year - I just submited my application last week for the early response deadline - good luck to all!!
Hi JustJane,
After you log in to the wolverine access and hit the application status, where the credential tab is, next it should be another tab saying decision and just hit that and a box will come up stating the decision they made. If they haven't finished reviewing your application the decision tab won't be there. I hope I explained this ok! Let me know if you didn't understand this.

Also,
If you see decision coming in mail = rejection
it'll say wait list if wait listed, you can check boxes to accept it or not
same for admitted
I know someone who applied in August that was admitted this past sat.
A November applicant who was rejected this past Saturday.
And a January applicant who was wait listed this past Saturday.
So who knows when or how they're reviewing the apps.
Thanks MelBell,
That clarifies things. I dont see a decision tab next to the application and credential tab...so I guess they are still reviewing my application....oye.

I dreamt that I got an acceptance letter in the mail, haha. I guess acceptances are only online, eh. They dont give acceptance calls? Well, according to the random time line, I guess I'll just have to wait.

does anyone know how many students approximately are waitlisted each year? i thought that at the information session it was indicated that a lot of waitlisted students get admitted into the program, but i am unsure. i was put on the waitlist yesterday and would like to know my odds of getting accepted. i was accepted to the university of detroit accelerated program, but unfortunately it starts in may so i will most likely have to choose between starting there or waiting to hear from u of m. i don't really want to take the chance of having to wait another year to start school so i was hoping someone had some information so that i may make an informed decision. thanks.:wink2:
Hi KellyZ,
I was wondering the same thing. I was waitlisted too. It seems like a bunch of people got waitlisted. I wonder if we called if they would tell us anything about your question. I would hate to see you wait too and not end up starting this fall. The waiting list letter I received said a person could be asked to attend the program up till August. That is about all I know.
I am waitlisted also. They will just tell you that they will look at everyone who is waitlisted when a spot open ups. If you get in they will send you a letter in the mail. That is what they told me when I called. There is no ranking on the waitlist.
I would plan on U of D. Who wants to wait another year and end up on the waitlist again. I am applying to other schools.

Hey,
UM isn't on the website for transfer equivalency. It looks like the patho class only transfers as Anatomy & Physiology. It didn't say that it transferred as patho on the website....where did u look?
