Hello,

I'm applying to the accelerated nursing program for Spring of 2017. I was wondering if any of you are applying also and where you are in the application process? I feel like I may have a started the application a little late and I'm wondering if that'll lower my chances of getting in.

just a heads up, i called admissions and applications are going to be reviewed next week sooooo we should hear something by the end of next week!! sooooo nervous, omgggggg help haha

@iserlohn I just called the school and they said my application under review and I could hear something by the end of this week :)

i looked at canelink and my app still says "incomplete" but i know that my file was completed on friday when i called so perhaps it just wasn't updated in the system? does it say incomplete for you?

It still says 'incomplete' I guess when they send you an email about your decision thats probably when it will be complete.

aw sweet, ok. i'll save the freak out session for when i get that email then. is UM your top choice? it's mine, with or without the scholarship, so if i get accepted i'm def going.

Hii yea it is. Its actually the first schools I applied to. I also applied to other ones like NYU (spring start), Stony brook, MGH, UMASS (all three summer start) There are 2 more that I applied to but they are fall start. So it woukd be great to get in UM and actually start in 4 months and be done by the end of next year! AC sounded positive about my application but you never know! If I don't make it for Spring, Im def applying to Summer as well because I will hear back from other schools around the same time I will hear back from UM for the summer cohort! Where will you be coming from? I was looking at housing today and its not so bad, i mean its foable consideting the tuition which is $40,000. Other schools I applied to cost a lot more than that. I wish we coukd hear back from some of the alumni of the absn program or current students lol

Hi guys,

do you, that got accepted, know where you're going to stay yet? How much does it cost to live on campus compared to living off campus? And where are the clinicals? I keep looking at different forums and on the university of Miami site to find more information but I haven't found much.

hi acordova131 if you check out the school website, they have different housing options displayed. They have the room layouts, the cost and forms and everything. Here I copied and pasted it from the website. Hope it helps. They have on campus and off campus housing available.
