University of Miami Accelerated BSN spring 2018

Hey all, I've been waiting to see a UM ABSN 2018 thread pop up but figured I might as well start one. I submitted my application on March 17 and still waiting for NursingCAS to verify my transcripts. From what I've gathered through past threads, its a rolling admission so I'm hoping to hear back in the next few months! Curious if there's anybody else out there who has applied or planning on applying!

So I applied on 7/31 and my status just changed to complete but I never received an email saying my app was under review. just giving an update! crossing my fingers :)

I applied on 7/25 and mine STILL says incomplete. Totally don't get it. Will probably call them tomorrow to get an update. Yay for you, hopefully that's a good sign that mine will change soon! good luck!!

Lol, well that excitement didnt last long! I checked back today and says my app is complete but I still need Letter of rec, College transcript, and College record. So I think there are still some bugs in the system.... Any luck with calling them chloec?

Oh man, that's frustrating! You submitted all of that with nursing cas I'm assuming? Yes I called and they said that as long as everything was submitted correctly via nursing cas it doesn't really matter whether it says complete or incomplete, they are working as fast as they can to get through all of the apps and to just keep waiting :/ I'm so anxious to find out but I suppose I'll just keep waiting lol

I called yesterday. If your application says it's complete it's going to be reviewed soon she told me they are currently reviewing 60 applications that say complete and will be informing people when decisions are made. Also they said they accidently sent those to do lists to all ABSN applicants, as long as your application says complete you should be fine.

Mine still says incomplete. I applied on 7/31 as well. Hopefully mine changes soon and I get accepted. I still have FIU and USF to wait for.

Awesome, thank you Barbb95 for that update regarding those To-Do checklists. They made me nervous! Does anyone know if they'll inform you if you get denied? Haven't seen anyone on this forum get denied yet.

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I just found out I have been accepted on canelink! I cannot be more excited! I am coming from Utah and have a small dog. I was wondering if anyone here knows information about housing? For example, good areas to look at or nearby apartments. Or does anyone know if UM has a program that offers like group housing for people within this program? I am open to room mates if anyone else on this thread is interested!
