Hey! how did it go?! i had no idea MSJ would take new grads. I live like 5 minutes from them and would love to eventually work in their ER.

Yeah, they just asked me at the interview which date I'd prefer to start on.

I got an invite to interview on 12/30, then interviewed 1/9 for South-1 (ER holds). I was supposed to hear back this Monday but nothing yet. App still says routed.

How funny! I went to UCD for my undergrad and then did an ABSN program at univ of Miami which is finishing up NEXT WEEK :) well, good luck to us out-of-staters. really wish i could have done my clinicals at kaiser, sutter, or UCD, but oh well! Just checked my app again - still just "applied". What were your senior preceptorships in? Mine was ED.

Yup, mine still says applied. keep checking for it to be routed! I grew up in the area and this is the only new grad position ive applied for. keeping my eyes out for others in the area. found one for... sutter i think but it said 2017 grads only? very weird. Im graduating this month! what about you?

Hey fellow new grads! Anyone else apply for the UCD new grad position that opened from Nov 21-28 for positions in Feb and April of 2019? Starting a thread to keep each other updated! Good luck on the job hunt :)

Hey there! I am currently wrapping up a whirlwind year of completing my ABSN at U of Miami in Florida. I moved here in Jan 2018 from California and will be graduating in Dec 2018. My whole family and boyfriend are in Ca so I plan on moving back immediately after graduation. I understand the difficult job market and am prepared to work at SNFs, corrections, anywhere that will take me! Can anyone explain the Processing Times posted on BON? Is that from the day I submit my Breeze until I get my ATT? My boyfriend and his family are trying to plan a graduation trip for me and his sister (also graduating). Do out-of-state applicants receive their ATT later than in-state applicants? I'm going back home in October and will getting my Livescan done. Can I finish up and submit my Breeze account then or do I have to wait until after graduating the program? The opening paragraph of the Breeze only tells CA graduates not to apply until two weeks before graduating but doesn't mention anything about out of state applicants. And you know how hard it is to talk to someone at the BON... Thanks for listening, I've had a hard time nailing down a timeline for post-graduation.

Oh these words could have came straight out of my mouth two years ago. My first CNA job was at a SNF and I cried after at least 4 of my shifts and had to do breathing exercises before I started work. Please, give yourself some slack. As long as you approach the patient with compassion, you've already done part of your job. These skills take time and practice, no one's a natural at ADL's. Sending positive thoughts your way!!

Awesome, thank you Barbb95 for that update regarding those To-Do checklists. They made me nervous! Does anyone know if they'll inform you if you get denied? Haven't seen anyone on this forum get denied yet.

Lol, well that excitement didnt last long! I checked back today and says my app is complete but I still need Letter of rec, College transcript, and College record. So I think there are still some bugs in the system.... Any luck with calling them chloec?

So I applied on 7/31 and my status just changed to complete but I never received an email saying my app was under review. just giving an update! crossing my fingers :)

Hey Chloec and gram stain! Same here, incomplete status and no email yet regarding admission committee reviewing my app. I've never checked my email so fervently before!
