University of Miami Accelerated BSN spring 2018

Hey all, I've been waiting to see a UM ABSN 2018 thread pop up but figured I might as well start one. I submitted my application on March 17 and still waiting for NursingCAS to verify my transcripts. From what I've gathered through past threads, its a rolling admission so I'm hoping to hear back in the next few months! Curious if there's anybody else out there who has applied or planning on applying!

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I just found out I have been accepted on canelink! I cannot be more excited! I am coming from Utah and have a small dog. I was wondering if anyone here knows information about housing? For example, good areas to look at or nearby apartments. Or does anyone know if UM has a program that offers like group housing for people within this program? I am open to room mates if anyone else on this thread is interested!

I've been apartment hunting in Miami quite a few times and can send you a message with some of my thoughts/experiences.

@sierra_foxtrot, I am so excited to hear someone else has a dog! My dog would be so happy to have a friend in Miami. Have you been able to find dog friendly housing? I also do not have a facebook, is there any way I could still see the facebook discussion without a facebook?

@BBlanca I didn't have a FB before but I just made one to connect with y'all. The group is private, so no access to it without an account. I have found some housing that allows dogs. It'd be great to connect. I'd love for my dog to have a friend to hang out with lol. I live in Texas right now, but I'll be moving from Arizona to Miami.

No :( It still says incomplete on my account. I'm hoping good news is coming my way too! I'm just noticing that it says I'm applying for their "Undergraduate Nursing" program even though I applied for the ABSN through nursingCas so I'm confused. I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow. Congrats to you and everyone else. It is super exciting that you have been officially accepted!!
