University of Miami Accelerated BSN spring 2018

Hey all, I've been waiting to see a UM ABSN 2018 thread pop up but figured I might as well start one. I submitted my application on March 17 and still waiting for NursingCAS to verify my transcripts. From what I've gathered through past threads, its a rolling admission so I'm hoping to hear back in the next few months! Curious if there's anybody else out there who has applied or planning on applying!

Congratulations to all the new students that have been accepted ! Remember to start the Vaccination records form -- specially the Hepatitis B series that takes 5 to 6 months to complete if you are not immune.

Just got accepted today to the program! does anyone know how strict that 2 week policy will be for the deposit?

Hey Chloec and gram stain! Same here, incomplete status and no email yet regarding admission committee reviewing my app. I've never checked my email so fervently before!

Just called the college and was told the next round of decisions should be expected within the next 10-12 days.

My name is Jasmine, I also got admitted to the spring 2018 ABSN program, I found out on May 11th. So glad I found this chat group because I have been so curious to know who else has been admitted into the spring 2018 program. Now I am even more excited since I found you all. I am also unable to find the facebook group. Can someone please add me in the group, it's Jasmine Falcon (profile pic is one of me with water). I joined the off campus housing website in hopes to find a roomate but so far no luck. I am also searching for scholarships at this point and housing options since I am coming from Indiana.

Hey! Any change on your canelink? I check everyday and mine still says incomplete!! ugh!
