Hi everyone! I know it's extremely early but I wanted to start a thread because I'm sure that like me, many of you have lots of questions. I'm hoping that this thread can be used to help us get answers! I would also like to know what other schools are you all applying to.
Any students that were previously accepted and willing to share their tips, stats, experience, etc we will gladly appreciate it.
I thought I didn't get an email from UM about CaneLink but turns out it was in my spam folder so check that first. If it's not there then definitely give them a call. What people refer to when they speak of "complete" vs. "incomplete" you will see in CaneLink under application status.
Hello! I also got accepted to UM! I applied on October 30th and my application switched to complete around the beginning of December. I have my bachelors in biotechnology and nursingCas calculated my gpa to be a 3.3. I also have 200 hours of shadowing experience and I have 115 hours volunteering at Nicklaus children’s hospital here in Miami. Hope to see everyone once the semester starts!
Hey all! I submitted my application on 1/27 after everything was verified. I'm still "incomplete" on CaneLink and i'm sooo anxious to know what my result will be! I had a 3.03 undergrad GPA but I've had a 4.0 in postbacc pre-reqs. I've been working as a CNA and MA for the past two years, so lots of great experience. Hoping to hear anyday!!
