Hi guys! Figured I'd start this post. Just started my application for UM. Has anyone else started or completed their app?

I've started as well! I'm wrapping up my last pre reqs this semester and will be submitting soon as the semester ends

Im finishing up two of mine as well! Hopefully all goes well, I think UM is my first choice!

UM is definitely my top choice but if I don't get in (fingers crossed that that doesnt happen), I will be applying to UNF,UF and UCF for Summer 2022

Are you from the Miami area? I'd be moving from way up north and am trying to do some early research on affordable living (if thats even a thing in Miami LOL)

Yes, I actually am and I am a realtor. Coral Gables living is VERY expensive due to the close proximity to UM but there are surrounding cities you could try with lower prices but it'll be further from campus

Hi guys! I'm also applying to UM as well, I'm just waiting to get my second reference and to finish up my personal statement and I should be all set to submit.

Do you guys happen to know if the references can only be from an academic source or if they can be from like a previous employer as well??  I've been having trouble with getting in contact with my second reference and am not sure if I should just ask my employer for one so I can submit my application already LOL

I think they can be from an employer!! I didn't see anything that said otherwise

Hello everyone! I will be applying for ABSN Spring 2022 too, has anyone already been accepted or not yet? I know they are known to process applications quite fast, so I’d love to hear if anyone went through the whole process already. Thanks!

I completed my application on March 2 and haven't heard anything yet. My application still says incomplete on CaneLink but I think this is fairly normal. I am getting anxious!! Fingers crossed I hear back soon!

Hi there! Where exactly does your app say "incomplete"? I've searched the Applicant Portal and Student Center for my application status, but I can't find it.
