Hey everyone! I am planning to apply to the degree holder route for nursing at the University of Calgary for January 2021. I found this site by reading through the University of Calgary, January 2020 forum and thought it would be good to start one for this next years in take.

I am currently finishing my English prerequisite and my anatomy and physiology course at Athabasca. Last year it looked like the GPA cut off was a 3.6 and that most people over a 3.7 got accepted.

Has anyone got their admission package yet?

I submitted my transcripts for the prerequisites (3.8 GPA) on the 2nd and got an update on the 4th of September, but submitted my international undergraduate transcript first week in August.

 I got a status update "documents have been reviewed and ready for evaluation..." about 2 weeks ago. I'm yet to receive an evaluation update. I sent an email last week Friday to an advisor, no response yet.

Please share yours, thanks. The wait is killing! LOL. I'm being optimistic and can't wait to get in.

Hiiii... I am an international applicant as well and I received my status update 2 and a half weeks ago. I have not heard anything back since then. I am not 100 percent sure what my GPA is. I am unsure if I am converting my grades to GPA the right way. The wait is stressing me too. Hopefully I hear back soon. Has any other international student heard back ?

Hi guys! Was just accepted to the degree holder route with a GPA of about a 3.63 I believe. Can not wait to meet you all!

Anyone know if there is a facebook chat or want to be added to one that I can start to discuss plans for this year?

Update!

Finally, I have been admitted! It feels so good, now I can exude all the stress of waiting and relax my pretty head. Ha!?

Congratulations!

I'm interested in the facebook group. I think the Winter 2020 class created one on Fb, so creating one for Winter 2021 class would be great.

I was told my final GPA is 3.78.
