University of Calgary, January 2020

Hello, I’m applying for the U of C degrees holder route for January 2020. Just want to say hi to other applicants. I applied on July 2nd and have not got any update on my application.

One thing to remember is that these numbers are probably slightly off. I was accepted like a month ago and I didn't know how to enroll in these courses so I just waited very long before I called the admission office to help me out. I was able to enroll in the courses last week, even though I was accepted last month. There might be other people like me who are still figuring out but I really hope that's not the case and hopefully everyone waiting get in. Good luck everyone and I hope you guys hear from them soon!

True that. As at Monday though the faculty of nursing told me there are less than 10 people before me on the waitlist( transfer route)

Hey did they get back to you to see if they will indeed add more seats?

They said they ll add more seats. And ll know this week or not

They will only add seats for transfer students or degree holder also?

They will know by this week or not if they ll add more seats. And I will know by end of November to dec15 if I'm accepted or not

She didn't say which she just said they might add more seats.

I spoke to them today. Basically no movement on the waitlist for transfer students. 2 people haven't accepted their offer and she said they might open up 2 seats, so in total 27 seats. offers went out last week monday and this coming week on monday is everyone's deadline to accept or decline. If they decline they make their way down the waitlist and if anyone on the waitlist declines then it is given to the next person down. By the end of this coming week, she said they should have everyone registered and ready to go. so if both students who got offers and havent accepted it decline and they open up seats, that means theres 4 seats up for grabs so im guessing, top 5/top 6 will be getting those seats. Goodluck to everyone and hopefully we all recieve positive news.

They replied my email today. They said they cannot tell me where I stand on the waitlist. It is constantly changing and they often have several students at same GPA. Also number of seat is changing as people accepting offers.

So basically I have no idea where am I and what chance I still have.

Are you an internal transfer, external transfer or degree holder?
