Hi all! Starting a thread for those applying to the UBC NP Program for fall 2025. I am an RN who graduated from UBC Nursing in 2017. I have been working in acute palliative care since graduation and briefly worked in home health nursing. I also have a degree from SFU (sociology and gerontology). The UBC NP Program is the only one I am applying to, so fingers crossed.
I got my acceptance offer at 1055 this morning! I also applied to UVic and am still waiting to hear back from them- hoping to hear back before my decision is due on March 25th as I am still indecisive about which school. I wasn't expecting to get in. I was fully anticipating a rejection because I applied with just two years of experience.
Congratulations to everyone who received an acceptance offer, this is such a huge achievement. Sending hugs to those who didn't get the result they wanted, don't give up!
