@ERNurseHailey I don't have a note on my file that classifies me that way. My partner is currently in her last year of the UVic NP Program and I would imagine she would have been considered a mature admit... but it never said so on her file. I'm interested as to why yours might specify that and what significance it has, if any. Kudos to you and your restraint... I probably would have caved and sent an email asking about it! Haha

Not admitted 😞

@ERNurseHailey Oh man, I'm so sorry. I'll be waiting for my "not admitted" too, then. Thank you for letting me know so I have a couple of minutes to prepare myself 😞 . Sending good thoughts and a hug your way.

Just got an email at 930pm - waitlisted for UVIC. Some news is better than no news. Congrats to all who got in! :)

Waitlist would be good since a lot of people might choose other schools! Did your status change on the portal? I can't believe I didn't even make the wait list. I am so gutted.

@ERNurseHailey I understand completely about being gutted. I was flat out rejected by UNBC and TRU and fully expected a rejection from UVIC after your update. My status has not changed on the portal at all: it's still "Under Review". I'm also not out of the woods yet. The only hope is that my partner got in to UVic after being 17th on the waitlist.... she got in 4 days AFTER class started. So this breath-holding continues for me.

Has anyone else received notice of being waitlisted with UVic?

I am sorry ERNurseHailey. It's a terrible feeling, and especially hard when you have so much experience which can be hard to capture on a short application. Plus the growth you have surely had since your undergrad 10+ years ago.

You are obviously clinically qualified.

Finish your stats, apply again next year, and look around to see if there are other uni's that might work for you as well if it is still something you want to pursue. We know how competitive the program is, still disheartening though 💛

I was waitlisted for the post-masters stream.

Status still shows recommended by department, but still no official email about acceptance or not from UVic ..

I got an email this morning saying waitlist for UVIC but my status online still says under review

@northernnurse23

Have you heard anything about the waitlist at TRU?

No I haven't but someone mentioned that acceptance offers must be replied to by March 26? So maybe next week? Hopefully sooner if people are getting into Uvic this week and making a decision

Does anyone know when do the accepted applicants have until to accept their offer for UBC and UVIC?
