For all of us applying to UBC's BSN 2016 program, let's communicate, share and give encouragement to one another throughout the process.
I just submitted my general UBC application to get the ball rolling early, and it already gave me access to get started on my supplemental application. This is my second time applying, so I hope to do a better job on my app this year and at least get an interview. But I have also accepted that this may not be my fate and I have other options.
Incidentally, to others who also applied previously: I phoned to make sure all my transcripts were still on file, and they are not! UBC admissions discards everything from last year. So I have six transcripts to send in again (including high school). Expensive and time consuming, and also seems a little crazy in the age of computers that they didn't keep electronic copies. But, we do what we have to do... Good luck everyone!
For those that are posting about getting interviews kindly also say what time their mail was sent to them so that those still holding on to hope know if they are still being sent or if I can stop refreshing my email toí ½í¸Š Thanks
Has anyone registered for the interview on doodle yet?...I submitted my interview time there all jittery and nervous under the assumption I would get a confirmation email, but havent gotten it yet...did anyone get a confirmation email for their interview date? I am not 100% for exactly when I booked it.
I didn't get a confirmation email after picking my interview time, but if you can't remember which time you picked I believe you can pick another time and your first one will be deleted!
Hello Congratulations to all! I also got my invite earlier today. Mine came around 4:00 pm. This year's interview is only 15 mins. if I read my email correctly. I feel like this is really short :0 And for those who didn't get an answer back yet, the emails might not have been sent out completely! Don't lose hope !!
I submitted my name and my time on doodle, but is there a way to re-check it? it seems I'm asking the same question as @NERVOUS IN VAN. XD . The doodle page keeps freezing right now ...
I didn't get a confirmation email about the interview, but like you, I was hoping I would. It bumped me off the first time after I pressed "save" and put in my info. I guess there was a few of us filling in the doodle form simultaneously and my "participant #" was already taken now. Hopefully I got it right.
