I didn't see a 2020 thread, thought I'd start one. I'll be finishing up my pre-requisites in April and hoping to hear back during the Summer. Has anyone been accepted? And if so, what was your AGPA? Thanks!

Hello. Please I would like to know how you transferred your courses from Athabasca to U of A and how long it took for the credits to be transferred there. I will be taking courses to complete my prequisites in May and I do not know if they can be transferred to the U of A before the deadline of document submission which is June 15.
Thanks your response in advance.
Not sure of this helps but this is the reply from Athabasca that I received about getting my final exam grades and transcripts to UoA by the June 15th deadline:
In order to have transcript processed and received by the University of Alberta by 15-JUN-2020, you are going to want to be able to request them no later than 01-JUN-2020. AU would need at least 3-4 weeks to process final grades from when the student has completed all the course work, including exams. So you most likely would want to write your exams no later than the beginning of May. You will need to allow at least 20 processing days for the exams, although they are usually processed and set up in a shorter amount of time.
At the moment only online exams are being processed and we recommend students to use ProctorU as they are a virtual invigilator who can watch students take exams all around the world. You just need to make sure you have decent internet speed, a webcam and microphone.

Thank you so much Sam. This was very helpful. What courses are you taking with Athabasca if you don’t mind ? I’m currently taking Statistics.
So, at Athabasca I'm taking:
A&P, Medical Microbiology, Psychology, English & Statistics.
At TRU:
(Possibly) Patho.
I'm starting on Monday so really hoping I can complete them all for the exams in early May and then submit sometime in June. I'm an international student as well so trying to get used to all the different terminology and process.
Looks like we'll both be applying for the sept 2021 intake?
I was there is no interview process so I'm guessing it's all just based on grades and work experience?
Hey guys!
I'm just wondering if the UofA can offer provisional acceptance if you have not completed 2 of your prerequisites. I've applied to nursing and am planning on taking anatomy and physiology this Spring and am wondering if I can be accepted before those classes have been completed!
Thanks!

It's me again. Even more confused than before I think ?
I'm weighing up my pre-req options for UoA.
Would you have any advice about which courses to start first at Athabasca, or which are the "easier" courses you mentioned above.
Athabasca University
English: ENGL 211, ENGL 212, or ENGL 255
Statistics: MATH 215 or MATH 216
Psychology: PSYC 228, PSYC 289, or PSYC 290
Human Physiology: BIOL 230
Human Anatomy and Human Physiology (6 credits): BIOL 235
Medical Microbiology: BIOL 325
I think I may ease into it while I research a better A&P class than Athabasca.
I should have mentioned I have quit my job and will be studying full time so hoping this will be in my favour ?
thanks so much, any advice would be great.
