I'm planning on applying for the final deadline. Any one has any idea how many students are being interviewed this week and any idea how many students will be accepted? Stats from last year?

Last yr almost 500 appliad and they interviewed about 120.. this yr, i think they had less applicants because they requirements are a little more strict... i.e CCRN required now, 40 hrs shadowing CRNA.

Last year the stats my class received were 436 applicants. 125 interviews. 27 accepted. The class size is 30 but 3 seats are allocated for progression students who were the top of their class in undergrad who decided to do anesthesia and are returning after a year of experience in the ICU.

The cost of living is cheap. Jackson is one of the largest cities in the area, but its not very big. Jackson is surrounded by many small rural communities with Memphis being about an hour and fifteen minutes away.

I was the 2nd to interview today and felt like it went really well. The interview committee remembered me from last year.

I like being the last day and making a good impression and last thought on the committee.

they interviewed around 40 this week; hopefully they can pick 10-15 (depends how y'all scored on the interview).
