Hey guys, I was offered and accepted a spot at a school here in MI so I will not be coming to TN in a couple of weeks. However, I am rooting for you all as I know the application process can be grueling. Good Luck!!!! Be your authentic self and win them over! ??

Congratulations!

congratulations and good luck. I have 5 applications on the table and waiting for an offer at present. Can you please discuss and give us an idea of clinical inquiry questions they asked you in your interview?

My interview was mostly personality based. The clinical related questions were inquiries into the kind of patients I care for, to assess acuity I assume. I was previously working at a level 2 trauma center, that does not see nearly as much acuity as the facility I now work for. They were specifically interested in my pressor use, vent experience, and specialty devices. I was asked to discuss a pressor I use in my practice, the mechanism of action/receptor site. I was asked things like "describe a difficult clinical situation" or "tell us a bout the sickest patient you had recently." Then they would ask follow up questions based on what I said. Steer the interview where you want it to go, only talk about things you are comfortable with.

I was so nervous, in fact I have never been so nervous in my life. I blanked the entire thing out immediately after, I couldn't remember what went well or what went bad. Then I spent like a week of replaying it in my head. Then a week of accepting my fate, of not getting in. Then the acceptance letter!!! I think that's normal ?

Getting closer and closer to the interviews. I hope they keep the same schedule and notify people like they did on the Monday/Tuesday after the interview.

Does anyone know how many are interviewing during the Priority Deadline interview period?

Is anyone else interviewing this Monday??

Good luck everyone ! Be yourself . The interview is very lay back . Just think why you choose Union ! Ask professors questions about the clinical rotations . Be humble and be honest in your answers. Ask students to tour you around the Cadaver labs, classrooms. Ask them about financial aids, apartments, etc... DONT’T BE QUITE. Union is just like a family I promise !

Had my interview this morning and it was very laid back. To be honest, I was a bit nervous in the beginning but faculty made me very comfortable. They helped me expressed myself well. I personally think they just wanted to know who I am. So, just be yourself! Wish y'all good luck!

I interviewed today and like most post have stated before they were very nice. It was not intimidating at all even though I was very nervous. Good luck to everyone interviewing this week!

I’m interviewing Thursday good to know this feedback! Was there many clinical questions?
