Starting a new thread for those that will be applying to Union University for the Fall 2020 class in Jackson, TN.

My interview was at 11:40am well I didn’t know I was the last one until I left! Lol

One of the students today mentioned they had less applicants due to the increase in requirements (40 hrs of shadowing, CCRN).

personally, earning your CCRN is so much more easier than taking the GRE. 40 hours of shadowing is very minimal, super easy to attain. Hope all interviews went well.

I am looking into this school for the future. Mind me asking about the interview process? What specific types of questions did they ask? Thanks.

I agree I took that exam 4 times to improve my grades and get competitive score! The CCRN is easier because it actually makes sense and it’s relative to your practice. They ask general questions like...why do you want to be a CRNA etc very few clinical questions if any it’s more about your personality and if you’re a good fit they want people who are motivated and committed that wants to be there someone who is personable and team player I mean I think that’s what every school would want really! Brainstorm your questions and then get them down to the points you really want to make keep them simple and to the point because otherwise you might get lost and forget what the question was to begin with :) good luck

I’m assuming Union is open tomorrow and not on thanksgiving break right? Just hoping calls go out tomorrow.

I have a friend that just started there in August and i literally just text her to ask her. She said School is closed all week but faculty is there til Wednesday. She also said that they usually make calls on Tuesday, or at least they did last yr

Considering they have less applicants and didn't have any interviews on Friday, it's possible that they already made decisions. Tomorrow could be the day! ?
