UNF Summer 2020

Published

Looking for anyone who is applying for Summer 2020 at UNF or has applied previously?

I currently have a 306 on the TEAS and a 3.9 pre-rec GPA. I will be retaking the TEAS to attempt to score higher, but if I do not, do you think I have a chance still to make it to interviews? Any tips will be much appreciated!

We’ve almost made it now! If we can just get some sleep tonight the wait will finally be over!!

Accepted for APL! So excited to start this amazing program!

Hey guys! Decisions came out and I was accepted for RPL, I’m so relieved haha

I got accepted into RPL! I can't wait to meet you guys!! ?

Good Morning everyone! I was accepted for APL! Looking forward to meeting everyone who got in!

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted. You should be very proud of yourselves!

I did not get in but will be reapplying again in the fall. Best of luck to everyone!

Hey everyone, congratulations! So when we reserve our seats, are we supposed to get an email confirmation back? Did anyone get an RVSP confirmation email back after reserving??

Thank you!

I think in one of the previous emails that she won't be responding right away or something like that because of Spring Break! I RSVP'd but havent gotten anything

@Bquinlan Awe best luck to you for Fall!! I didn't get in last Fall and it was really hard, but if you keep trying you'll get there! Try retaking the TEAS just to see if you can get a more competitive score or try to look into CNA programs around you to get some experience! You'll get there one day don't worry!! ?

@Bquinlan,

I did not get in either and felt confident in my interview. ?

@Courtney050,

If you don’t mind me asking, what did you change most from fall to now? Did you improve your TEAS score or just focus more on the interview?
Congratulations to everyone who got in and for who did not!
I’m definitely not feeling it but am trying to remember it’s going to be okay and we are just a few months away from another shot at it!

Awe girl I'm so sorry, don't worry I remember I felt hopeless but everything happens in time and remember to stay positive! I retook the TEAS to get near the average TEAS score from that Fall term, which was 85%. I also retook a perquisite class to get my GPA higher and I joined a CNA program to get more experience and a different outlook! Also a big tip for the interview is supporting the interviewees in your group. So definitely make sure to reference them in your answers, for example saying "I agree with what blah blah said about this but also I think this", to show you are actively listening to them too! You're not going there to compete, you're going to support each other and show who you are! ?

Thank you for the words of encouragement Courtney050! I thought I had a pretty decent tease score, 350, and my GPA is 3.75. Unless I just bombed the interview but I referenced the other interviewees in all my answers and thought I had decent answers. Praying for better results in the fall.
