UNF Summer 2020

Looking for anyone who is applying for Summer 2020 at UNF or has applied previously?

I currently have a 306 on the TEAS and a 3.9 pre-rec GPA. I will be retaking the TEAS to attempt to score higher, but if I do not, do you think I have a chance still to make it to interviews? Any tips will be much appreciated!

I would definitely email back and ask maybe what you can better improve for next admission!!

I am in to the Summer APL program. Is anyone else still in disbelief?

To those who didn't make it--Keep trying. I have failed and have been disappointed many times in my life. The most important thing is that you keep a positive attitude and affirm yourself. Maybe this wasn't the right time, but the fall will be. If possible, try to get involved with some of the non-profits here, if you're in Jacksonville, or others around where you're from (community health or medically based).

I know that UNF has a strong community-based curriculum and ties, so it would make your application stand out among the rest I would think.

Hey guys, I was also interviewing for UNF Summer 2020. I got waitlisted but I’m trying to stay positive. I’m hoping someone gets accepted into a better school and I get called off the waitlist. I’m probably gonna retake my TEAS so I can reapply for fall just in case that doesn’t happen though. Also are any of you current UNF students? Did you see the coronavirus update from UNF? They’re cancelling classes for two weeks! I hope that doesn’t effect the nursing admissions process!

What was your TEAS score?
I will be retaking mine also and reapplying for Fall, and I would be a transfer student myself.

Good luck to you too! Hopefully we both get in! I had a 339 TEAS SCORE and a 3.7 prereq GPA. What about you?

327 TEAS and 3.96 prereq GPA.

Your TEAS is great! But I definitely understand, I’m hoping to improve my TEAS too since Fall is especially competitive. ?

Awe Fawzia I hope you can get in!! Yeah they called me about the coronavirus update! I'm thinking classes may just start a little later maybe but I'd wait til you hear from them first of course! At best it's more time to prepare yanno? ?
