UNF fall 2012/summer 2012

Anyone applying to UNF nursing program either for summer 2012 or fall 2012? I am interested to hear from fellow applicants or graduates about their experience in the program!

Hey guys, letters were mailed at yesterday (Monday) and should arrive by Wed/Thurs. Beth told me that your status will only change if you are denied. So if it still says "departmental referral" then cross your fingers for an interview. Good Luck!

Well I checked my status online again and it finally changed to "Deny" :( I have a 4.0 overall GPA but I didn't do well on the TEAS, should have studied. Looks like it's time to get to studying for fall... Good luck to the rest of you.

Overall? Or prerequisite? If you have a prerequisite of 4.0 and get your teas up, you will for sure get in. What was your teas?

Overall, I have all A's that's why it's so disappointing... I had major anxiety while taking the test and it's kind of a long story why I didn't study but it was because I slacked. So it's only because of my TEAS score, it was 70%.

That happens, But you've got the grades, so you deff have a great chance if you do well on the teas

I thought they only took the first TEAS score?? I am on the site just following everyone's comments, because my daughter is applying for the fall. She has excellent GPA for pre-req, but her TEA's isn't that good. I have heard the avg score depends on how everybody score around you could be avg score 70 or 80, just depends. I told her it would do no good to retake.

No they deff take other teas scores you can only take it once per application period. I retook mine, but got the SAME score!

How did you do on your TEAS? Yes you have to take the TEAS per application and you can't retake it for the same term:(

Thanks for clarifying that. She scored a 70. So we will see....we have turning it over to God. Its out of our hand at this point. :o) For all the schools. UNF was the only school that required the TEAS, that she applied to.
