Anyone applying to UNF nursing program either for summer 2012 or fall 2012? I am interested to hear from fellow applicants or graduates about their experience in the program!

had to defer my application until fall...couldn't start in may (anyone else?)...wish you all the best of luck..let us know how it goes!

Congrats!! However, I read on another post where you got accepted into an Advanced Pre-Specialty Program for this fall (Masters Level) at Vanderbilt, so why would you reapply in the fall for this program???

That's one reason...but finances will play a huge role...options are always good :)

On the other UNF board, we are all talking about checking "mywings" just in case our acceptance updates on the computer before we get our letters. Has anyone seen a different status for the application yet? Mine still says "Departmental referral."

Thanks roemerr :) @RN In FL: It seems like I can't send PM's back for some reason, but my TEAS score was an 81% and my gpa was about a 3.7 or something like that. This was my second time around applying so if u don't get in the first time always try try again. Never give up. That being said I hope ur daughter gets in the first time around :) tell her not to be nervous. The interview is more of a discussion than interrogation lol be confident and be excited let them see that u want to be a nurse and want to get your degree @ UNF. Best wishes!

Congrats :) I hope to get my letter tomorrow to be official. Are you from the Jacksonville area?

I live in Orange Park. How about you? Once you save your spot you will get all the details via e-mail. Plus ther is a Facebook group that has been created for us. I already feel overwhelmed with everything we have to get done.
