Hey guys,
I wanted to start a thread for any students applying to University of North Florida's BSN program Summer 2019. I am currently a student at UNF finishing up my last few pre-reqs for the nursing program. I am super excited and also slightly (actually very) nervous about applying to UNF's program since it is so competitive. I will have a 3.9 GPA if I finish with A's in the two pre-req courses I am taking this semester. I have yet to take the TEAS but have been studying as much as I can through the ATI Testing website and will be taking it in October. Any advice is appreciated, and I hope to hear from any future applicants! :)

Thank you ?
I did retake the TEAS, but my first score was actually still better. Honestly there wasn’t anything major that I did the second time around aside from investing in a nice blazer and pencil skirt!? I was also a little more detailed with my stories and how they relate to nursing/the question being asked in the group interview. The interviewers were also great sports with my humor that I let out a little more this time and I generally was just more of myself and let my personality be more apparent than last time.
I wish I had something more specific than that but I think it’s the little things that add up!

Is there a Facebook group for the incoming APL's? Or just for the Summer 2019 cohorts in general?
Thanks and congrats!
It’s a Facebook group that combines both APL and RPL for the time being! Beth is the admin. Search for UNF nursing 2019 welcome wagon”

Congrats on USF that’s a wonderful school! I wonder if you could email Beth when the dust settles and ask her what could have happened based on your different scores like interview? I think I heard of someone else doing that one time just so they could know what to work on in case they wanted to reapply.
