I really think the interviewers are looking at our personalities the most. They just want to get to now who we really are and how well we will work as a nurse. I think if we just give honest answers, that they will know how to judge us. Overall, just being yourself while having thought out answers will work best ?

So I have also thought about doing this lately, I think it might be good to get an idea of who will be interviewing us. But there is a chance we are going to have interviewers that are not faculty members so I’m not going to look too much into it. I have been practicing common questions, and writing my answers down as I go. I am very nervous, but hopefully it is a relaxed setting like past interviewees have said!

I am wondering how everyone has been preparing for the interview? I have spoken to a few people that have already been accepted into the nursing program and they have given some advice, such as recording yourself to see how you answer possible questions. Has anyone done anything else yet to prepare? Also, I am very nervous/excited for the interview process!

Hi! I went to the SYWBN workshop and will also be attending the interview workshop. My interview is at 11:30! I am so nervous! Also SNA has a mentorship program that helped me a lot of you are currently a UNF student ?

Wow guys! Loved seeing this thread getting so many replies that I started ?!!! I also got an invitation yesterday! Congrats to all who also got an invitataion to an interview. My GPA is 3.9 and my TEAS is a 345. Does anyone else have an interview time at 11:30?

Thanks! Good luck to you too! I have been taking the online practice tests for the TEAS almost every day and have the exam scheduled end of October :) glad to hear it's alot like the online versions

Hey guys, I wanted to start a thread for any students applying to University of North Florida's BSN program Summer 2019. I am currently a student at UNF finishing up my last few pre-reqs for the nursing program. I am super excited and also slightly (actually very) nervous about applying to UNF's program since it is so competitive. I will have a 3.9 GPA if I finish with A's in the two pre-req courses I am taking this semester. I have yet to take the TEAS but have been studying as much as I can through the ATI Testing website and will be taking it in October. Any advice is appreciated, and I hope to hear from any future applicants! :)
