Anyone out there besides me going to apply ?
so how did everyone interview go? I was really relaxed throughout the interview. I would rate myself a 7 out of ten. Didn't have my hair looking on point because of the crappy weather, Most of my answers did not start off right to the point, and I did not wow myself so not sure how they took it. Overall I am glad I made the trip from Tampa no matter how it goes. I really think they have a good program and I feel some who are in the program that I met are not really appreciate of the community part.
I had no idea less than half of us interviewing were going to be cut.
Hi All- I have a question about UNF's decision time frame. There were a variety of responses given when we asked about acceptance letters. I was in the 8:30 group and at first was told 2 weeks but then in the interview room, one of the interviewers said within a month...
Anyone else hear anything differently?
Hi,
I was in the 10:30 group, and Beth told us she would be mailing the letters this afternoon (Tuesday) before she goes on spring break. The college does not want any calls until a week from this friday, allowing two weeks for the mail delivery. I think the interviewers said one month just to be safe. I think we should have a letter by this friday or saturday, HOPEFULLY! Good Luck:^)
Hi All-
I happened to be home for lunch and just received my letter of acceptance to UNF's accelerated program! I'd love to hear from anyone else attending. I live in Gainesville and the Jacksonville area is uncharted territory for me so any recommendations on places to live that are close to campus are much appreciated!
Good luck.
I got my letter but for the regular track and not the accelerated. Although I am happy to have been picked this far because I really think the world of this program, but regular is not in my plans. Personally I thought UNF has the best program in the state because they are organized and offer a unique BSN track. I have been accepted into another accelerated program and will opt for that instead. Good luck to all of you and there will be a spot for those who have been wait listed. Getting out in Aug of 2011 just sounds better than May 2012 plus I have some world traveling to do in between that time. Jacksonville has changed so much, I have only been back there twice since 1993 and all I can say is wow but spreading my wings I guess won't be for me
.
Congrats to you guys who got in!!
If you are not sure where to start looking to live, look right off of 9A, or Gate Parkway- there are a ton of recently built apartments, condos, etc... and it's really close to campus.
a few minutes further (but not much) down the road is Baymeadows & 9A where there are also some newly built apts and condos... still really close to campus! Bottom line, 9A is really fast to get to UNF.
SarahBanana- thanks for the info. I'll be sure to check out that area first. Recommendations are always so helpful!
Aboo2488- are you in Gville now? Its nice to know someone before starting the program in May. Let me know if you have any luck with housing hunt. I'm starting my search too. I'm looking for a furnished one bedroom and if I see anything that looks appealing, I'll let you know.

So after the interview do we land either a traditional spot or accelerated spot; could we not get either or after the interview?
