UNC Chapel hill ABSN 2016 !!!

Published

Hey guy's. I wanted to go ahead and create a thread for everyone applying for the Absn program in 2016 at chapel hill. Please share your thoughts, concerns or anything you may want to talk about.

My acceptance letter arrived earlier today - I can't wait to meet the rest of our cohort! If anyone wants to get coffee or something after the pre-orientation, I'd love to meet y'all!

I got wait-listed, but I still have hope! I'm glad to hear you all got in! Congratulations!!! I pray I'll be joining you in the celebration!

I'm so excited to meet all of you! I'll be attending the October info session if anyone wants to meet up afterwards!

I will be attending the October session as well! I would love to meet up with y'all! :)

Late to the game, but I, too, will be attending the Oct pre-orientation session and would love to meet up with people afterwards.

I will be in Central America visiting family during pre orientation: they are letting me do a one on one meeting when I get back. Let me know how it goes! Has anyone tried to decifer the course schedule yet? Trying to figure out when I need childcare.

I'm out of town so haven't logged into the portal yet.. is there a course schedule on there? Or are you talking about the one on the admissions website?

I looked at the one for the spring 2016 on the admissions site and looked at the courses we take first semester. Wonder if these are the kinds things they will answer at ore orientation

I would think (hope) so! I certainly need information about financial aid to and all that fun stuff :)

Hey guys! I have been lurking around this thread for awhile but finally decided to join in the convo when I got my acceptance letter today!!

I am coming from out-of-state so I am still deciding whether it will be a good fit due to the considerable price differences. Any other people from outside NC?

I've always wanted to go to UNC though!! We shall see...

I'm from out of state too (California)! Will you be attending the pre orientation? Flights are super expensive this last minute so I want to try and get out of it but i don't know how easily they let students miss it.
