Hey! Anyone else on these forums that are awaiting a decision letter from Chapel Hill for their BSN program starting in May? I was waitlisted for last years program so I am cautiously optimistic on my chances. I was surprised that there hadn't been a forum started for this years program. It's getting down to the wire now and I am beginning to count the days!
Don't mind at all! I was very curious too when I applied for the absn program (didn't get accepted). I live in Raleigh, 3.57 gpa in exercise physiology and 3.8 in the required science courses. Currently work as a personal trainer and a cna. Cna work is fairly new though, as I just started it when I sent the application in. My volunteer work consisted of some time at the saving grace dog adoption center near my home. While I was in school at East Carolina I also volunteered at the peer tutoring Center to tutor in anatomy and was a mentor for obese adolescents around the Greenville area. Don't get down on yourself if you do not get accepted, Unc has one of the most competitive programs around!!

Both your cumulative and science GPA are high!
I also went to ECU for my undergrad in Interpersonal communications, worked in Medical Device Sales for half a year and finished my science prerequisites at NCSU. Also, CNA certified.
I have been volunteering for two years with the Ronald McDonald House and I'm currently volunteering twice a week at UNC hospital.
My undergrad GPA and science GPA were both only a 3.1, which makes me nervous

I didn't receive anything today either! This is so strange. I'm in southern pines so I'm less than an hour away.
