  1. I got into wake tech, I believe I had 173 points. But I will be giving my seat up since I did get into another nursing program. Good luck to the alternates and congrats to everyone who got accepted!
  2. SN2751, actually there is an enrollment fee. 250. So idk how that may affect people's decision. But hopefully you get accepted of the waitlist, I know the feeling (I applied last year). Thank you. And good luck to everybody.
  3. bnb2017, the deadline for response is march 15th. Did you get waitlisted?
  4. The letter says it will be up there no later than march 23rd. The decision for undergrad admissions. And I have none left either.
  5. I called the nursing school and they told me that in her 7 years of working there, she's only seen a handful get denied from undergraduate admissions. She said, "I wouldn't worry about it too much". Msb27 that's a good point. Although I have finished all my prerequisites.
  6. Mkochhar, I got it today, but the postage stamp says March 8th. I'm assuming it took a few days since I live 2 hours away. Have you received anything?
  7. Hey guys, I just got my letter.. and I'm in! Well it says it's contingent on final admission of the undergraduate admissions office, so that's confusing. But good luck to everyone else!
  8. Your stats are good so I'm surprised you weren't accepted right away. Hopefully that changes since it's your second time applying. I had 2 months of CNA work at the hospital when I submitted my application. It's my second time applying. Let's see what tomorrow holds.
  9. I guess bc it could be higher. I know there's people that get in with high GPAs. The first time I applied I didn't have any CNA experience, and my gpa was lower (I retook some classes this past semester). I rewrote my essay bc they told me it could be improved. I also don't have too much volunteer experience, another worry. But it sounds like you've got a good chance since community service is big for them. I hope we find out by the end of this week at least.
  10. I'm an undergrad. I got my Associates in science, my gpa was 3.58, so kind of worried about that hurting my chances. This is my second time applying. I got my CNA and work at a hospital. But I don't think having your CNA is a requirement but hopefully it helps.
  11. I applied to Wake Tech as well. I've heard Pembroke is a good school. I don't know if they send out letters based on each status. I just know she told me that they would be mailed out this week.
  12. I applied as well. I called them on Friday, and she told me that they would send out decision letters next week (being this week), so I'm sure we will be getting letters by the end of the week or next. Anxiety is kicking in. Also, there is not much activity on allnurses for this cycle.
  13. I applied as well for the fall 2017 start. I hope I have a chance to get in being that the fall is supposedly much more competitive than the spring. If I counted my points correctly, I have 179 points. We shall see in March though. I'm pretty sure I submitted everything required, but I am an over thinker. I wish they would send an email stating that they received our application.
