I wanted to start a thread for those of us applying for UNC's ABSN program starting in January 2014. There is another thread on here, but it looks like it's only about Duke's applicant pool. I know the application isn't due until August 10th, but when I applied to Duke for the fall I found talking to others in the same situation helped with my nerves! :)

Ah so exciting. My letter was in a 5x7 envelope and my myunc has not been updated yet- I saw on past forums that it is not updated for a few days after the letter is received. Good luck!!! :)
Congrats :) I found out I was waitlisted how long do they give you to accept, I just was wondering when they would possible pull from the waitlist. Fingers crossed that they do

No, there's no way to find out where you are but I did get accepted today! Don't give up, call the nursing school and make an appointment to discuss your application. I did that, and did what they suggested and got in!
I live about 20 minutes outside of Chapel Hill and got my acceptance letter today :) The SON does want us to either accept or decline the offer by Oct. 23rd. Congratulations to everyone who got in and for those on the waiting list, don't give up hope. There is still a good chance!

I live in Chapel Hill and the mail came and NOTHING! And my.unc hasn't been updated either. I can't handle this!!!
