I wanted to start a thread for those of us applying for UNC's ABSN program starting in January 2014. There is another thread on here, but it looks like it's only about Duke's applicant pool. I know the application isn't due until August 10th, but when I applied to Duke for the fall I found talking to others in the same situation helped with my nerves! :)
I hope everyone's application is going well so far! Let's keep each other updated on how things are going throughout the process and share information as we go. Good luck to everyone!!
@Bohbee, mine still says "Thank you for submitting your application. Your decision is not yet available." Maybe they're in the process of updating them? Good luck!!
So mine still says my decision isn't available..but there is the link under my to do list for admission items for SON spring 2014 that says 1st and 2nd letter or recommendation, academic worksheet, teaching scholarship, and final transcript...does anyone else have this?
That's weird since UNC doesn't even accept any kind of recommendation but who knows! Mine still says the "Thank you for submitting your application..." but I am refreshing the page like crazy! Best of luck to all of you and here's to hoping we find out soon!!

I know..doesn't make sense so that's why I'm freaked out.
Don't worry just yet, you still don't have a decision so its very likely that it means nothing! I know it's hard but don't worry, you're still in this just as much as the rest of us!

I'm sure it's taking time to update everything though! It might be good news since you got that admissions to do list link, but others may not have that yet b/c it hasn't updated. The waiting game is nuts, but let's try not to drive each other too crazy. We'll know very soon, hopefully!!
Don't worry yet!! No news is good news (that's what I'm telling myself)! Plus, it looks like they're changing the MyUNC portal soon, so it could just be a glitch with that.
