I wanted to start a thread for those of us applying for UNC's ABSN program starting in January 2014. There is another thread on here, but it looks like it's only about Duke's applicant pool. I know the application isn't due until August 10th, but when I applied to Duke for the fall I found talking to others in the same situation helped with my nerves! :)
I hope everyone's application is going well so far! Let's keep each other updated on how things are going throughout the process and share information as we go. Good luck to everyone!!
I'm currently an ABSN student at UNC and I remember looking at these boards this time last year so I just wanted to wish you guys good luck! I have just have one word of advice though. Do not get discouraged if you get placed on the waitlist. I was placed on the waitlist and did not get accepted until December of last year. I almost gave up hope and then I received the letter I had been waiting for over 2 months for. For those of you who get in, congrats and I will look forward to meeting you all in January!

Thanks for the words of encouragement, I'm sure everyone would agree that we are all going to be a ball of nerves til everyone hears anything :) hope everyone gets good news!! How do you like the program so far?
My application status says I can "click here to get your decision" but when I try to click it does not open. Anybody have any luck retrieving their decision? Good luck, everyone!
@Bohbee, mine still says "Thank you for submitting your application. Your decision is not yet available." Maybe they're in the process of updating them? Good luck!!

Mine also still says decision not yet available. I was thinking that they're probably updating them a little at a time as well since they probably have so many applicants/decisions to update. Good luck everyone!!
