Hello, all!
My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Nada here either.
It's interesting how it went from many people finding out about their decisions to very little in a span of 5 days. Of course, this is just based off those who posted on this forum. I thought there would be more people posting their decisions. Who knows, other people probably are receiving decisions/phone calls/emails, we just aren't aware of them. But it is a very mysterious admissions process they have... Like how some have a status change and a phone call same day. And others may have a status change, phone call, and email. And then others who had just a status change.
I wonder when you begin the program if they'll give you the scoop on how they go through applications and notify applicants
I contacted admissions today and they just got back to me and confirmed that all BSN decisions will be released by the end of the week. We have two sources now saying that decisions will be out soon (Chitar37's phone call and the response I received today), so hopefully we all hear back before the weekend (unless they notify applicants on the weekend too?).
Ooh, and I received an automated email just now saying that she is "heavily involved in admissions committee meetings" so she will get back to me when she can-- although by the time the email sent, she had already responded back to me. At least we know that they're having meetings about our applications all through out the week!
**Could also explain why some statuses were not updated until the late hours of the evening (because they deliberate all day? Maybe!)

Neither have I...guess it just takes a while! I am anxious to receive it, though! But I am just happy my status has changed...I can deal with the waiting now :)
To those still waiting, I am hoping you receive SOME answer soon! This must be agonizing....but at least you have this forum to vent on!
