I'm starting this thread in hopes of meeting other hopefuls for the Fall 2018 BSN program at University of Maryland School of Nursing. I've submitted my application, just waiting on my Official Transcript from Towson before I submit the supplemental papers for my application. I've also applied to Towson University. Feel free to share your stats as we all ride out the wait together. Good luck to everyone!

Also got the call! I applied at Baltimore Campus. Is that a routine call that everyone gets?

Just realizing I didn't post stats in my original post.

GPA: 3.66

Science GPA: 3.8

TEAS: 84.7

The message I got said they were calling everyone who applied to verify their campus choice. My friend got a call too; she applied for the Spring 2018 start.

Hey all!

I just received my letter of acceptance to the RN-to-BSN program for Fall 2018 :). A little background about myself... I'm currently enrolled in an ADN program in my last semester and am scheduled to graduate in May 2018.

I submitted my application last year and was given provisional acceptance... Although I have maintained above a 3.0 since submitting my application, I did receive a C in one of my nursing courses in my third semester and am worried that my acceptance will be revoked. The letter states getting a "B or better on my remaining prerequisite courses" and I'm hoping it just applies to the pre-requisites listed in the pre-requisite course list on the UMSON RN-to-BSN application page :(.

Can anyone shed any light on this? I'd be terribly disappointed if my acceptance is revoked.

Hello,

Has anyone had status change since receiving the call? Mine was "Complete Ready for Review" because the call and has stayed same. Was it supposed to change?

I have not because I'm still completing my fourth semester. I was going to submit after completing my program and passing my NCLEX in May/June.

I noticed it says for my remaining prerequisites courses which are like chemistry, anatomy, etc. all of which I have already completed before entering my ADN program.

Perhaps I will contact admissions and check with them.
