UMSON Fall 2018

Published

I'm starting this thread in hopes of meeting other hopefuls for the Fall 2018 BSN program at University of Maryland School of Nursing. I've submitted my application, just waiting on my Official Transcript from Towson before I submit the supplemental papers for my application. I've also applied to Towson University. Feel free to share your stats as we all ride out the wait together. Good luck to everyone!

I got a call on Wednesday and I just received an email too.

I got the email as well. It says we can't change our locations after February 12th. Hopefully that means that we're going to hear back about decisions a lot earlier than in the past. I was looking at a thread from last semester and people started getting their acceptances about a week after the phone calls.

A week after the phone calls?? That's super fast I saw that ppl received acceptances in late March and in early April.

They said ppl that receive calls/emails are more than likely to be accepted and they also said that not everyone that applied will receive a calls or email.

There is someone with username guest10, but people refer to as @GreyLady. He/she seems to work as UMSON and has been active during previous application cycles. I think he/she can help you out with this and can also provide everyone here with up-to-date info on the status of the process. I'm new on this platform and don't know how it works. Can the experienced ones here invite him/her to this thread please!!

I have not because I'm still completing my fourth semester. I was going to submit after completing my program and passing my NCLEX in May/June.

I noticed it says for my remaining prerequisites courses which are like chemistry, anatomy, etc. all of which I have already completed before entering my ADN program.

Perhaps I will contact admissions and check with them.

Looks like they've notified DNP students and some RN-BSN so we're baby stepping our way into the traditional acceptances! good luck guys, this is my 2nd time applying (shady grove)

Has anyone had a status change recently? Mine is still at "Complete Ready for Review." Has someone's status been updated since the calls/emails?

Mine says Committee Ready

When did you change? Was it after the calls/emails?

Mine said this before emails/calls.
