I'm starting this thread in hopes of meeting other hopefuls for the Fall 2018 BSN program at University of Maryland School of Nursing. I've submitted my application, just waiting on my Official Transcript from Towson before I submit the supplemental papers for my application. I've also applied to Towson University. Feel free to share your stats as we all ride out the wait together. Good luck to everyone!

Mine says Committee Ready. It just changed in the past few days after the phone calls

86 on the teas (95 on the science section)

Hi guys, I'm applying to the Shady Grove campus for Fall 2018. Has anyone ever called the school after applying to get some more information on expected timelines? I don't want to be seen as a bother, but I'd love some peace of mind on this.

My application is still in Complete, Ready for Review. But, I did get the email asking about which campus mid-early Feb.

They said they'll release decision in April. Hopefully ppl that got calls/emails get in.

I'm also looking at Shady Grove in the Fall. Does it reflect on how they feel about our application if we are still in complete ready for review or are they just evaluated in the order received?

I've been watching this board, but I think I'm just making myself more nervous!

My application says

Application Status: Complete Ready for Review

Decision: Committee Ready

I could've swore I only had complete ready for review earlier today . Maybe im going crazy lol

My status changed sometime last week to committee ready as well.

Hello to all of the Fall 2018 hopefuls! I applied as well for the traditional BSN program at the Baltimore campus, and I check SURFS probably twice a day, lol. I received the call and email from the school confirming campus location etc. My status still says, "complete and ready for review". I saw on a few other forums in the past they sometimes won't make a decision until late April. Can anyone confirm that? I've been accepted into Georgia State University's BSN program, but I'm trying to stay home in Maryland.

Yes you're right they usually don't let us know until April. If u call they'll tell you the same thing.

I received a private message, but unfortunately, cannot reply. Their question was what were my initials, when was my application completed (everything turned in) and campus choice. They wanted to see if any of those could be contributing factors to when someone's application gets looked at and their status gets updated. Here is my info:

Initials - D.B.

Application - submitted on 1/17/18, completed (last item turned in) on 1/30/18

Campus - Shady Grove
