I'm starting this thread in hopes of meeting other hopefuls for the Fall 2018 BSN program at University of Maryland School of Nursing. I've submitted my application, just waiting on my Official Transcript from Towson before I submit the supplemental papers for my application. I've also applied to Towson University. Feel free to share your stats as we all ride out the wait together. Good luck to everyone!

Yes, definitely! I'm still just gonna hope for first week of April, so I stay patient enough to keep my sanity lol

Took the TEAS the exact same day as you, how did you fare?

Your resume doesn't really matter, so I wouldn't worry. What matters most is your GPA and TEAS scores. I am also older with two babies :)

Hi , i'm also applying for fall 2018

I have a bachelors in biology from Towson

My overall gpa - 3.4

prerequisite - 3.8

I took the teas exam for the first time last week and scored a 94.7%

Hello there! I'm new to this thread! Looks like we're on the same boat, I also have a general GPA of 2.9 and a science GPA of 3.5. I didn't do as well as I expected on my TEAS ( I got 73), but fingers crossed! How did you do on your TEAS?

Your science GPA is good. When schools choose their applicants they don't always choose the best of the best there has to be some type of mixture like high gpa with low Teas score or high Teas score with low gpa. I know ppl that had a 87 on Teas but had a low gpa and got in.

I applied to Towson and UMSON Shady Grove late in January. I have a 3.69 cumulative and a 3.91 science, although I am taking A&P2, Micro, and Nutrition right now. I took the TEAS January 18th and scored an 87.3. I'm currently a sophomore at Towson, but am hoping to get into the shady grove campus because it would be a third of the price of Towson! Hello all! I applied to UMSON @ Shady Grove for the fall. I will also be applying to the nursing program at Montgomery College, but UMSON is my 1st choice. My stats are below. Good luck to everyone!

GPA: 3.03

Pre-requisite GPA: 3.21

Science GPA: 3.24

TEAS: 84.7%
