REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
Mimi3, I would phone them once ur status changes. Because when they called me it was just a formal "do you accept" and I obviously said yes and then she just informed me to be on the lookout for the letter. It WILL update on surfs first. However, if it will put ur mind at ease by calling and updating your application then go for it! :) good luck!
Hello, Everyone! I have been following this thread since I put in my app in January. U all have kept my spirits up and kept me optimistic though the whole process and I greatly appreciate that! I am happy to say that I have just received FULL ADMISSION for the Fall 2015 Cohort for the BSN program at the Baltimore campus! Also, my last name starts with a "V". Congratulations to all accepted and Good Luck to all waiting to hear back!
Haha afowler77, I had so much to do yesterday and couldn't bring myself to do any of it because... we were off! It isn't often that we get days off like that! Gotta stay optimistic! Hahaha! And yes, everyone, if you want to come and say hi to us on Saturday at Maryland Day. (We'll be across from the STAMP Union.) It is a really nice event!
PinkEagle, I cannot tell you how happy I am for you! I know you've been working so hard and it all finally paid off! Persistence is key!
afowler77 and I are in the Facebook group, so when you all get the invite please join and chat with us! The Facebook group is such an invaluable source of information. You will be using it throughout the semester in order to communicate with your fellow classmates about assignments, clinicals, and exams.

No need to be embarrassed indeed... there are people who have gotten in with lower TEAS scores...it's just hard to tell how decisions are made. And the people on here who have had to apply a few times and eventually got in have been so inspirational...take heart--we will be nurses, one way or another! :)
