Any updates for wait listed students?

I called the admissions office today. They told me that wait-listed applicants would not get a letter yet. First the office goes through the letters from those who were accepted to see who accepted their spot. Then in 2 weeks, they would get to the wait list. It was unclear as to whether the wait-listed people would start hearing in 2 weeks, or if they would start looking at the wait list in 2 weeks. Either way, I guess it's not too long until some of us hopefully starting hearing back!

How many are still waiting for decisions ? Mine still says "Commitee ready" By definition , it means not voted yet. How can they decide for so many with out voting on all applicants ? Can Gray lady shade light on this ? She has not been on this year forum.

Mine still says that as well. Someone on here said we would have our decisions by the end of the week, so lets just hope these are the last two days of waiting. Its been a long, extremely stressful wait.

The last time I was waitlisted, I received a form to return stating my desire to remain on the waiting list.

Has anyone an update ? I wonder why Gray Lady is absent for this cycle? she used to respond on the last year thread.

I expect that some of us may have updates or status changes soon. We've all been so quiet! Guess we're busy with finals.

My application still says "committee ready" and I am now planning to start plan B. If I don't hear the result by the time I accepted the other offer, then I will decline this one.

I am waitlisted for Shady Grove but have yet to hear anything from Admissions. I am keeping my eyes open for some sort of letter to come in the mail, but I have yet to receive one. Has anyone received a letter yet in regards to the waitlist? I've attempted calling, but I never get through to a person. I've also left voicemails. :/

Mbd4life-I'm also waitlisted for Shady Grove. I haven't received anything yet. I think graduation is today, so I expect they're attending that. Otherwise, I guess we just sit back and wait.
