UMSON Fall 2014

Published

Deadline is set - February 3, 2014

Who is applying?

To everyone still waiting for notification, hang in there and don't feel disappointed. A previous poster noted that UMSON will be reviewing/calling through next week. People are still being accepted and I'm sure you'll here soon. :)

I am also still "committee ready" for the tradition BSN program. You're not alone :)

For the people still waiting to hear back: GreyLady Posted this in a previous forum

"All accepted students are notified AT THE SAME TIME - as much as possible given the numbers and how long it takes to call them - it can take 2 - 3 days. Make sure the phone number on your application is both there and accurate. As far as the applicants are concerned, there really is no difference between Committee Ready and Complete and Ready for Review. It is more an internal processing code for the admissions staff so it does not tell the applicant anything."

So with that being said I assume I am either wait listed or denied at this point.

I think if you were rejected or wait listed, you would know by now.Committee ready simply means, not voted on yet.

I am also waiting for status update for traditional BSN @ shadygrove. It still says "Committee Ready".

Ah with great relief my status has changed...admit! :) good luck to the rest of you!

When did it update ? Are you BSN or CNL ?

No, I'm actually an associate degree RN going back for my BSN. I graduated from AACC in May '13 :) my status changed around 3pm yesterday.

Has anyone that is accepted created a Surfs account yet? It won't let me because I don't know my Student ID.

So I called the school of nursing, and they said we should all get a response this week if you haven't gotten a decision yet. This is BSN. Not to increase anyone's anxiety, just sharing.

You can! Your student ID is found on the site you check you application status on. On that same page, it is the # preceded by an @ sign. You should be able to create a Surfs account that way!
