Who is applying?
It's up to you how you want to send things in. I sent it in piece meal. I sent my acceptance of the acceptance in with the deposit right away. Then I sent in the health hx/immunizations form/ PPD results/CPR card all together. Then at the end of July, I sent in my transcripts from my summer class. For me, I had to be compliant with all of that (including the summer course being completed with a B or higher) by orientation. Either way, it all got there and sorted and filed properly because here I am 2 semesters into the program. The main things you're going to have to do are: pay your deposit, get your health history/immunizations/PPD all squared away and get the health form sent in (I'd get on top of this sooner rather than later. I'm of a generation that's older than some vaccines. I had to do titers for the chicken pox for example to prove immunity since I had the actual disease as a kid, not the vax. It can take a while for blood work to get done and come back. Also, the hep B series, if you haven't had it or haven't started it can take a while to complete. You'll need a PPD test and if it is positive, you'll need a chest X-ray. You have to get your CPR certification through Red Cross or the AHA. And you have to complete your class and send in your transcripts. Sounds like a lot, but it's not so bad. Mostly, just relax and try to enjoy the summer before nursing school turns things topsy turvy :) I was a provisional admit too and had to complete a summer class prior to starting in Fall 2013. But it all got done. And it will for you too.
That is such a help! Thank you for all your insight!!!
One last question for you though, how does housing work? I would need to live in the city, I cannot commute from where I am. I have looked at UMB's housing website and everything...but how do I go about finding roommate(s) and everything like that? I would imagine I would want to get on that somewhat soon in order to be sure to find a place and roommate(s). I know that there will probably be many openings from this years students leaving...but like I said I cannot commute! I appreciate all your advice!
On UMD's website, just apply for housing and they will set you up with a place to live as well as just place people in your dorm or apartment with you for roommates. I'm pretty sure they've got it all covered! One girl I know just asked someone from the Facebook group if they wanted to be roommates or you can just let the school pick. If you have someone you'd like to be roommates with they have a place to put their name and information!

@summasun016, yes I created a SURFS after we got that email from financial aid. It doesn't say much as it's not updated yet, but I made it so I could see financial info as soon as it is posted. I would do what you said- sign up for CPR, and make sure your immunizations are up to date. I haven't done much else except focus on my last prerequisite class (A&P II), just waiting for the mailing now. Yes, the form your doctor should fill out is: http://www.umaryland.edu/health/documents/288727_Immunization_MedicalHistoryForm.pdf
