Who is applying?
They said that last application cycle too. We thought we'd hear back Nov 1. and when someone in the forums called they said no one would be hearing anything until mid-novemeber. Calls ended up going out the next day.
They -hate- when people call to check on these things, so they tend to tell them longer so people wait to harass them!
That being said I just locked myself out of my SIMS account by entering the wrong password too many times so I can't check my status until I get a call. Go me!
I already inquired about housing and we're not allowed to apply until we are accepted/ enrolled. I just hope I get a flat yes or no so that I can move on! I can't handle another wait list situation like Salisbury. But katiep_123 if you know someone else who has housing available, please let me know!
Those who are worried about housing - be sure to look on the shared/rooms section of craigslist baltimore when your accepted and just search UMB or UMSON. There are always students who've just moved in that need roommates! Thank goodness because the school has NO dorms (except for the one strip at the back of campus.)
I know it's early but anyone NOT moving to Baltimore? If I got in I'd be commuting about 20/30 min.
I will be moving to Baltimore, but I live in Little Rock and I am not familiar with the area. I think I have narrowed my apartment hunting down to three buildings/communities. it would be awesome if you guys could give me some insight into whether they are in good or bad parts of town. Charles Towers on North Charles Street, Marlboro Classic which is just a couple blocks down the street from the school, and The Standard at Preston Gardens on St. Paul street. I know this isn't exactly nursing related, but it is difficult to make a decision based off pictures from the internet and I was hoping you guys might have a little better insight!
