Who is applying?

I don't think you can apply for admission to AACC until you have all of your pre-reqs done. That's what I've gathered from reading the info

Oh yeah...vaccines... I just started the hep b one, and I'll be an EMT by June; My CPR is AHA healthcare provider, and it's good for 2 years. What other vaccines do I need?

You're right you can't apply until you're done your core pre-reqs for their program. (AP 1&2, Micro, chem, psych, nutrition, etc..) But if you're just doing your extra humanities credits for the BSN program you can apply now!

Does anyone (maybe Grey lady?) know if UMSON allows students to defer enrollment for a semester or more? Just curious.

You have to submit a deferment request, from what I have read in past threads. Then they review your reasons and have to approve it. I'm not sure how strict they are on that though.

Busybee91 - I remember last application cycle this question came up. I think Grey Lady said you had to have a -really- good reason for them to accept it. (military, family emergency etc..) If you search deferment and UMSON on this site up at the search box I'm sure you could get more info since Grey Lady it probably super busy with her current semester!

There is a list of vaccines on the website with things to fill out. You take that to your doctor to determine if you need it or are still vaccinated. Here's a link!

Vaccines: yes, print out the health form! That has everything you need. Current Tdap or DTap, proof of MMR vaccine or a titer, proof of varicella or a titer, at least first 2 (of 3) Hep B, and for fall admissions, the flu shot needs to be administered at the start of the fall flu season. You also need two current, negative PPD's, done at least a week apart. Refer to my earlier post for details. I've completed the form already.

I haven't yet been accepted! I applied last semester and was waitlisted, I found out via the SURFS portal.
