Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.
Hello all!
did anyone applying to the fall 2016 CNL program at UMSON, see a requirement space for nursing license? I have submitted all required documentation but there's still an empty space for that....I spoke with Ms. Jackson this morning or told me they're still processing mail and updating statuses but just inquiring on your experiences.
Has anyone else's application status not updated online?? I'm scared my materials got lost in the mail from the blizzard
I'm sure they didn't! They update everything manually, so it takes a while before they put all the paperwork together. And they get tons of applications, so you can already imagine all the work they have to do! I'm sure it will be updated soon! Did you request a return receipt with your mailed packages?
Hi everyone - I am applying to the CNL Fall 2016 program. My status is now "Complete Ready for Review." That being said, it took them weeks to get everything accounted for online, even if it had arrived days or weeks prior. Best of luck to everyone in this stressful, but exciting, process! (side note: I too was not able to get them on the phone easily, so I emailed and heard back within a few days when I still had items not accounted for)

I didn't and I'm starting to wonder why I didn't it still hasn't updated. But the only glimmer I hope I have is that they also didn't update that my personal essay was received... But I did that on the online application. I'm really hoping they're still updating materials!
Hi everyone,
I applied to the BSN Fall 2016 program and I am kind of nervous! As I am reading through all of these posts, it seems like a lot of people are going back for their second degree or have a lot of clinical experience. I am almost finished my sophomore year of college at AACC. I have an overall 3.88 GPA but I am currently taking microbiology. I also got an 88% on my TEAS test. I have done really well in school; however, with no clinical experience I feel like my chance of getting into the program is lower. I want to get my CNA or at least volunteer at a hospital this semester since my course load is lighter, even though it's probably going to be too late to have an impact on my acceptance. I wish the best of luck to everyone and I cannot wait to find out if we get accepted!!
Quiet Sunshine, BSN

Finally my status has been updated to Complete and Ready for Review! I had some trouble with one reference letter that was sent in before I turned in my app, but now it's fixed! Guys, don't send in anything else before submitting your app, that's just asking for trouble!
