UMSON fall 2016 hopefuls ?

Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.

Yes you are right they will likely start another batch of interviews for CNL applicants. I spoke with Ms. Jackson today (I've been calling her weekly for updates) and she mentioned they will likely be doing interviews until June...due to the interviews they've done and the upcoming graduation...URGH! the waiting has been unbearable! But it seems as though we'll wait a little longer...

June?!?!:eek: are you serious? Thats very unfair :unsure: Honestly, the cohort should have been set and fixed like last month...not still in the process of being interviewed :(

I know!! So unfair and annoying at this point. Its been 1/4 of a year and nothing. Honestly you would think a school as well known as MD would be more organized with their decision process...

Congrats jabontZ09! Did you just check your status or get your acceptance letter? And I think the provisional admit status pertains to the pre-reqs/classes you are currently taking... not the ones you have taken already. Are you taking pre reqs for the program right now? As long as you get a B or above on what you're taking now you should be fine :)
You should contact admissions right away and ask if you need to retake the class to keep your seat.

Hi All! I just found this forum and I was wondering if there are any BSN applicants still at Committee Ready. My sister applied for the BSN at Baltimore and was accepted on April 25th and my friend, also a BSN applicant was accepted on April 28. Then there is me.....Also BSN for Baltimore and still waiting to hear something......:sorry:

There are many applicants still at Committee Ready and there are still seats to fill on both campuses.

I am also still 'Commitee Ready'. I can't stop refreshing the applicant portal page looking for some sort of update/answer!! @GreyLady Any idea when decisions will be out for BSN-Baltimore campus? I understand someone on this thread has been emailing admissions and was told that decisions will be completed tomorrow (Friday the 13th...yikes!). Is there truth to that?

This is becoming insanity... I honestly just need to know one way or the other (for my own sake). I've been following this forum for weeks and didn't want to post anything, but it's become disheartening that it's taking so long. I was admitted to Towson weeks ago, have received my "to do list" before the semester starts, and have paid enrollment... How much longer are we supposed to wait before fully committing to our second choices?

The wait is absolute torture. It's like being in perpetual limbo :( I must look 50 times a day for an update. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day! Good luck everyone. :)

I already got into a BSN program at Shenandoah University and they are waiting for my housing deposit...if I do not hear from UMD by next Friday, I am putting my payment down for Shenandoah. I started my application in November and I am still at Committee Ready.. this is still ridiculous
